Travel notices are based on an assessment of the potential health risks involved for travelers heading to certain areas of the world. Right now, Mexico only has two confirmed cases of Coronavirus. Both cases are isolated in the country’s capital city and do not affect popular beachfront tourist destinations. As a result, travel plans for individuals who want to vacation in Mexico shouldn’t be affected.   • Do not touch your eyes, nose, or mouth. Especially avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains 60%–95% alcohol can be used as well. Soap and water should always be used when hands are visibly dirty.
  • Always clean hands after going to the bathroom, before eating, after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose.
